Marc's senior recital

Marc had his senior recital Friday night. The Triumphant Brass played an ensemble number with him. It was a ton of fun. We all just sat in 214 and goofed off while we waited for our cue. Here are some pics:
All of our feet...minus Marc's...he was performing at the time.

David stole my camera and was taking a bunch of random pictures of himself. What a wierdo. LOL.

Me and Becca just relaxing...

This was one of the serving tables at Marc's reception. Isn't it pretty?

Dan, me, and Scates. Grose, Scates!

I TOLD Dan to smile, but did he? No. Turd.

I feel old....

We have visitors staying in our room tonite. High school students on a college trip. They are hilarious. I was telling one of them that I was 9 when I first got contacts and she was all, "They were invented then?" Oh my word I feel so old.

Triumphant Brass recording session

Today we had our first recording session for Triumphant Brass! It was fun. I took some individual shots:

David Woolley

Jenn Luttrull (duh)

Marcus White

Dan Howe

Joelle Isaacs

Becky Witter

Rebecca Ferris

And then some group shots:

Here we are gearing up for the recording.

Hilarious Work Order

One of my jobs at the bus garage is to process the work orders that come thru. Today I came across the most hilarious one. It says "student locked in dorm room and cannot open door." When I read it I just started cracking up. Can you imagine being that poor guy? How embarrasing to have to call security because you can't open your own door. And then he had to wait for someone to come fix the door handle so he could get out. Hilarious, I tell you.

Band Recording

I spent most of the day today in a band recording session. We had one before this semester, and we'll have one again in March. We in the euphonium section managed to keep ourselves entertained, though. I went and got my camera partway thru the session, and I got some pretty fun pictures. Check it out:

Me and Krista waiting for the session to start.

Krista getting violent.

During one of the breaks Davis, Jeremiah, and I had a mini "jam session." Jeremiah and I were just playing "Heart and Soul" when Davis came over and started improvising a countermelody over ours. It was cool.

The boys were goofing off. (L to R: Jeremiah Willson, Jon Yelland, Ben Rhine)

During the breaks while the rest of us were goofing off, the girls in the percussion section were oh-so studious doing their homework. (Overachievers! LOL.)
Me and Chris played rock paper scissors during rests.

Me beating Chris.

Him beating me.

Ditching Artist Series

Jen and I decided to ditch artist series this year and instead go shopping and Starbucks-ing. It was great. All the girls in the dorms were getting all beautiful for artist series, so it inspired Jen and I to cutesify ourselves to see if any cute boys would notice us. LOL. (I actually wore makeup! I had to borrow from Jen because I don't even have any of my own. Sad but true...)
At Starbucks. (I made that scarf that Jen's wearing!)

When we got back to the dorm we were kind of bored, so we decided to take pictures of the many moods of Jen and Jenn.

Surprised.

Scared.

Excited.

Sad.

Angry.

Skeptical.

When we got bored of that we broke out the flavor ices from my window.

Nice, Jen, nice.

I think the sugar was going to our heads.

The Kissing Door

Melford 101 put up a new door decoration today. It's the kissing door! They're trying to get everyone to kiss it. LOL. I'm thinking they're probably going to judge to see who's the best kisser. Or at least who has the best lips....

Here's the door. They've still got a ways to go before it's full, but there were girls out there kissing the door still long after I took this picture.

Here's my kisses. Pretty sure I'm not going to win the contest...my kisses look wierd.

Gotta love bright red lipstick. =)

Melford 104

Last night me and my roomies decided to take some room pictures. We were all pretty wound up the whole time...the photo shoot ended with Colleen (the girl who was taking the pictures for us) drawing a face on Kristin's chin, then Kristin laying with her head upside down on the bed while we videoed her talking. It looked so wierd! We were all just cracking up.

Auna's so heavy! Okay, maybe not so much.

Yes, we know it's cliche, but anything that would get this face out of Kristin and would get Auna to look like she's blowing kisses can't be all bad.

Charlie's Angels...only much better looking.

(I was trying to look sassy, but I was smiling at the same time, so it just came out looking dumb. LOL!)

What sweet roomies.

Kristin, Jenn, and Auna revert back to their fourth grade cheesy smiles!

My Flavor Ices

My mom brought me Flavor Ices when she came up. I put them in my window to freeze them, and I just thought they looked so cool! So I took a picture. =)
(I know this post is completely pointless, but I just felt I needed to share the joy of my Flavor Ices.)

My Junior Recital

Yesterday was my junior recital. It went pretty well. It was really fun to perform, and it's such a relief to have it over! =) My wonderful family drove through a blizzard to see me. They are so amazing. Here are the pics:

This one turned out kind of dark.

Me and Jen.

My brother is such a goof.

Jarvesky came to my recital as well. They greeted me rather boisterously after the recital and demanded a picture. LOL.

My beautiful family.

Becky and Laura's Jam Session

So tonight Becky and Laura decided to have a jam session. Tuba and guitar. Interesting to say the least. LOL. I was their official photographer. Here are the pics:

This is Option A for their album cover.

This is Option B for the album cover.

Don't ask.

Way to kick a girl when she's down, Laura!

Love the ghetto couches in the background, ladies.
