Incident with an exercise ball...and Giovanni

So I was playing with an exercise ball tonight, and I was just rolling around on it, and somehow I ended up in this position. You can't really tell, but my head isn't touching the floor at all. I'm balancing by my hands and feet on the dresser. Let's just say that getting down from that position was quite a scary incident in the life of Jennifer Beth Luttrull.

This is my terrified face.

And this is Giovanni, Angelina's brother. He is just the cutest thing on planet earth.

Chambers/Band Concert

Last night was the Chambers/Band home concert. It went pretty well. There were the usual tuning issues with the band, but overall I think it was one of our better performances. The Chambers part was especially fun. I love Chambers! These pictures were taken right after the concert.

This is me, Stephanie, and Joleen. (my dorm sup and RA) I love these girls!

This is me, Auna, and Sarah, the roommates I toured with. They are so fun!

My Life of Christ Group

This is the group of us that sit together in Life of Christ. We took this picture today because it was our last day of classes! Yay! But I'm gonna miss these peeps. We have a ton of fun. John Yacks looks possessed in this picture. Wow, John, wow.

Two Beavers

These are me and Angelina's beaver faces. She started this one. Pretty hilarious. She looks like a crazed rabies beaver. Ha ha ha!

My Bomb.com Room

Me and Angelina and Auna were wound tighter than a ball of string on Sunday night. (Sarah was on an even keel, as usual. LOL.) Me and Auna got up on Angelina's bed and were tickling her and just persecuting her when she was trying to do homework. We ended up deciding to get a room picture while we were all up there. It was fun.

We got one with Auna laying across our laps...

And one just normal. Well, other than the fact that I'm goofing off, but really that's pretty normal. So...I guess it's just normal...like I said. We all sleep with stuffed animals, so we decided to get them in on the action, too. LOL.

Kelly

Kelly Kusik is one of my best friends here at MBBC. She is such a peach! She and I are both music majors, so alot of times we're in the practice rooms at the same time. We inevitably end up talking instead of practicing. But our practice room talks have been SOOOO good for me! She has helped me grow so much spiritually. You know how sometimes you have a bunch of different experiences that don't seem to have any connection, then all of a sudden in one conversation the Lord shows you what He was teaching you through all of those experiences? It's like a light just comes on in your head. Well, I've had a lot of those moments this year, and most of them have been while talking to Kelly. She is such an encouragement to me and such a good example. So I decided to dedicate a post to her. I love you, Kelly!

By they way: she would want me to put a disclaimer on this picture. I was wearing these sunglasses, and she was all "Oh my word, they match my outfit!" So she wanted to try them on and I let her and we were laughing really hard. I made her take this picture against her will. She's such a goofball.

I found this to be humerous...

The other day when I checked my email Joel Stevens had sent all the band members an email with this attatched:

One of them had gone into photo shop and done one of the best parodies I've ever seen. What kills me is that they even got the facial expressions about right. Other than Andy, who's grinning, but then I don't think I've ever seen him without a grin. Maybe he had plastic surgery. LOL. These guys are just too hilarious.

It's Me Playing!

I just found this picture on the Crusader Net! I'm in it! Yay! I circled my head so you can see me better. = )

Funny Cousin Story

So the other day I went to my aunt and uncle's house to do laundry. Me and one of my cousins, Chris, were sitting at the table having supper, and another of my cousins, Cathy, who's about ten years old, was pestering us to go on a bike ride with her. Well, in order to get her to stop pestering, Chris told her to go run around the house a few times. So Cathy goes running out the front door, and a few seconds later we see her run past the window. We saw her go by a few times and then we saw her go by in the opposite direction, only this time she was crouched down. We were all "What's up?" until we saw her go by in the first direction again. Chris was all, "I think she's trying to make us think she ran more laps!" Next thing we know she comes in the front door huffing and puffing. We were all, "So how many laps did ya run?" She gave us a sheepish grin and held up five fingers. Chris was all, "Does that include the one when you ran under the window crouched down?" We all just busted up laughing. It was the funniest thing ever!!

The Past Few Days

So first of all i just have to mention how gorgeous the past few days have been! (Other than today which was rainy.) We're talking warm weather, sun, the works. The grass in front of Melford is starting to look like it needs to be mowed, and the other day when I went to open my window, I saw this little gem. Some have called it "the official flower of the midwest." I prefer to call it "the official flower of Jennifer Beth Luttrull's childhood." I used to pick these little wretches all the time! Once I picked a whole boatload of them and put them in my brothers sheets which were hanging on the line. Stained em. Probably got spanked (I don't really remember.). To this day I don't know what I was thinking. I was a strange child, that's for sure. Some things never change. LOL.

This is me and my roommate Auna. We matched on Friday so we took a picture. (Yes, Mom, I know I look better with contacts. Sometimes I'm just lazy! He he.)

This is me with Andrea, who was my RA last year. She came up because we did the Elijah thing at her church last Sunday, and on Friday we did it here. Her church came up and sang with us. It was alot of fun. I forgot to get a picutre with her on Sunday so I got one on Friday. = )

Day in the Life of a Music Major

This is a picture of the practice room I was in today. I usually practice in the one two doors down from this one. I think it's kind of humerous how run down the practice rooms are. At first I hated it, but I've rather grown to love these beat up old rooms. Each room has it's own personality. This one is unique because it has a huge desk in it. Also, it has a sink and two mirrors, which are especially handy for the string players who are supposed to practice in front of a mirror. As you can see, we prop the window in this one open with a chair. The one I'm usually in is relatively roomy, which is why I prefer it. The window in it stays open on its own, which is nice, and it has a small desk in it which is handy for storing music in. I'm not really sure why I'm writing a dissertation on the practice rooms' personalities, so I think I'll stop now.

This couch used to live in Burkhart Hall. Unfortunately, the deans have confiscated it for reasons which they have chosen not to disclose. They put up a sign saying that we're not to move it back, so now it lives just a few yards away in the hallway outside 212. I put up a small shrine to it, and lots of people have signed the memorial sheets. I'll take a picture of it tomorrow and post it. For now, though, I must be going!

The Elijah Thingy

This last weekend the Madrigal choir and the orchestra travelled down to Chicago to do a performance of Mendelssohn's (sp?) Elijah. It went really well. I got to see my old RA, Andrea! (Unfortunately I forgot to get a picture with her...blast!) I even got to stay at her house! Super fun! The highlight of the weekend, though, was that my family came to see me! I thought only my mom was going to be able to come, which would have been super fun, but then I found out that my dad and brother were coming, too, which was even funner! (Disclaimer: I know funner isn't a word. I just felt like using it.) Then, my grandpa ended up coming, too, which was even more funner! (Disclaimer: Same as before.) Here are some pictures:

This is me and my brother making kissy lips at the camera. He's such a goof!

This is my whole family! Yay! Unfortunately my shirt was bunching up wierd. Not sure what was up with that.

This is me and Ashley Sloop, who I sat with on the way back to MBBC. She's alot of fun. We played a really funny prank on the guy across the row. He was sleeping with his mouth open, and I was eating carrots. So Ashley was all, "Dude, you should so stick a carrot in his mouth!" So I did. It was hilarious because he started sucking on it! I was busting up. We got it on video, but I can't figure out how to post videos on my blog. If anyone knows, please leave a comment telling me how! Or if you don't know, but you really want to see it, leave me a comment with your email address and I'll email it to ya. It's hilarious!

This is me and my mommy! I love her!

Day in the Life of the Trombone Section

This is a picture of the trombone section during the typical orchestra rehearsal. Sad but true.
